3-4 LE MARCHANT STREET
The project consisted of the alteration and refurbishment of two adjoining buildings to create one new high quality office space over the total of four floors with a link to the main office situated in No. 2 Le Marchant Street known as Polygon Hall.
This had to be done in sympathy to the existing façade.
The Project consists of four main elements:-
- Underpinning of the front façade wall boarding Le Marchant Street
- The demolition and removal of the party wall between No. 3 and No. 4 Le Marchant Street and the construction of a replacement steel frame together with the removal of some of the existing floors.
- The creation of a high quality office fit out within the space created by the demolition and opening up works.
- Externally, the building has undergone refurbishment and modernisation, with careful consideration to ensure that the intrinsic character of the street façade is kept.
