CBL Consulting are extremely proud to have been involved in the re-development of the old Children's Library at The Guille-Alles Library. This project aimed to re-develop the existing tired library into a brand new, exciting library space where children can visit to read, learn, and most importantly, have fun!

The design proposal comprised various full-height bookshelves, raised flying walkways, gantries, staircases and seating areas. Due to the condition of the existing library being poor, CBL were appointed and were responsible for ensuring all existing structural elements were safe and in good condition, enhancing them as required to maximise safety and structural integrity. Additionally, we were responsible for designing and implementing new structural elements to enable the exciting proposal to come to life.
