PAVILION D'EGLISE

This  floating walnut staircase was part of the refurbishment of a large house, we were approached by Holmes Chartered Architects as other local Engineering practices and staircase manufacturers had advised that it couldn’t be done.

Using state of the art analysis software, innovative construction techniques in both timber and steel, and close working with the architect we achieved the seemingly impossible. The staircase is supported only at the base and head at intermediate loadings.
