The Stable Yard

CBL were appointed to provide Structural Engineering services for 2 bespoke houses set within the curtilage of a grade 2 listed former Rectory.

Where each house type had unusual roof arrangements, CBL engaged with early consultation with the truss manufacturer to ensure that the most economical scheme was possible which resulted in less steelwork and a more efficient build.

Localised drainage design was also provided on this scheme. The majority has been designed by the Architect however CBL were asked to provide a soakaway scheme to meet the SUDS requirements set out in the planning conditions.
